Food Packs Distribution 2026

In 2026, during the blessed month of Ramadan, we were incredibly proud to distribute 100 food packs to 100 households in need in areas where support was most needed in Layyah. Each pack represented far more than essential groceries — it symbolised compassion, generosity and the true spirit of Ramadan: standing with those facing hardship and ensuring that families were able to observe the month with dignity.

This meaningful achievement would not have been possible without the kindness and generosity of everyone who donated. Your contributions, whether large or small, made a genuine and tangible difference to families who required support during this sacred time. Because of you, 100 households in Layyah received not only essential food supplies, but also comfort and reassurance that they had not been forgotten.

I was fortunate enough to be present for this special occasion, and it was an incredibly fulfilling and humbling experience. It was especially lovely speaking to the individuals and families who came to meet us — listening to their circumstances, understanding what else we could assist them with, and learning how we could improve our efforts going forward. These conversations were invaluable and gave us clearer insight into the real needs on the ground.

Insha’Allah, we will be working hard to fulfil the additional needs that were requested and to respond as soon as possible. Our intention is not only to provide short-term relief, but to continue building meaningful support based on what people have genuinely asked for and require.

We are deeply grateful to everyone who played a part in making this Ramadan initiative a success — from donors and volunteers to those working tirelessly behind the scenes. This is only the beginning.
