During the blessed month of Ramadan 2026, we were honoured to host community iftars for those in need, bringing people together over food, warmth, and kindness.

We are delighted to share some wonderful news — the successful completion of four new water pumps that will provide clean, reliable water to those who need it most.

In 2026, during the blessed month of Ramadan, we were incredibly proud to distribute 100 food packs to 100 households in need in areas where support was most needed in Layyah. Each pack represented far more than essential groceries — it symbolised compassion, generosity and the true spirit of Ramadan: standing with those facing hardship and ensuring that families were able to observe the month with dignity.

We are happy to share that two wheelchairs were recently donated to Symbol of Hope by kind and generous donors. These wheelchairs will help two people who have difficulty walking move more easily and live more comfortably.

We would like to thank Abdul Hamid for his kind donation of a new bathroom and wudhu khana built just outside the mosque. This bathroom includes a shower, toilet, and sink, providing comfort and cleanliness for anyone who needs to use it. Next to it is the wudhu khana, which has four taps for people to make wudhu before entering the mosque for prayer.

We are thrilled to announce the completion of our very first bathroom unit in a rural village in Pakistan. This milestone marks the beginning of our journey to improve sanitation and hygiene for families who currently lack access to clean, private facilities.

Khadija’s journey has been one of resilience and hope. Living with a disability in challenging conditions, she struggled with everyday mobility and basic hygiene due to the lack of essential equipment. But thanks to the kindness and generosity of compassionate individuals, her life has now changed for the better.

This man, unable to walk, had spent years on the streets, relying on the generosity of strangers just to get by. Every day was a struggle, not just for himself but for his family, who depended on whatever little he could bring home. But everything changed when Wasim’s donation made it possible to provide him with a sewing kit—along with all the tools and materials he needed to start working

This latest project is dedicated to the loving memory of Mohammad Khan Kayani and Farukh Sultana, whose names will forever be associated with the gift of clean water.

This water pump is particularly special as it marks the beginning of our new initiative, Water Pumps in Nepal. It is the first of many that we aim to build to provide clean and accessible water to underserved communities in Nepal. Access to clean water is a fundamental human right, yet millions around the world still struggle to obtain it.

These children now have the chance to dream bigger, aim higher, and work toward a future where they can one day pay it forward. And that’s all thanks to your support
